I am curious about your Purple columbine. I have just planted some
this year in full sun (usually I have read and seen them in shade, but
the tag said sun - so thats what I am trying). Is yours in full sun?
I am wondering how well they will do during the heat of the summer.
Here in Austin we have hot humid summers, with July and August temps.
usually in the 90-100 range.
I am a big fan of purple, and also have the purple cone flowers and
this year I am trying some purple daylilys. The daylilys have not
started to bloom yet, so I am anxious to see how they do and if they are
truly purple.
