I go for breadless. I like the simple lines, no ruffles, saturated colors,
blues and purples. I like SIBs for their ease and grassy foliage. Since I
only have 13 iris and 9 of those were planted last fall and haven't bloomed
yet, I cant really answer yet. Never the less, I am going to. In a few days
it may well change. Next year it will change again.I think one has to have
some history to have a true favorite. I'm working on my history. All that
said: Last year my favorite was SIB VI LUIHN, a deep red violet w/yellow
signal. I have to admit that one of the main reasons I enjoyed it has less
to do with the actual plant as to its spot in the garden.It bloomed right
next to and at the same time as my himalayan blue poppy. The combination of
the two was wonderful.
