WELFENSCHATZ, Marlene Ahlburg of Germany hybridized it Reg. 1990. Diploid,
29" M. S.cream white; F. yellow (RHS 5B to 2b). ( Welfe x McEwen 69/70/7) X
McEwen sdlg. This iris was a guest at the 1st Siberian Convention 93. It is
very nice and became a favorite of many attendees. I believe I still have
it. I looked in a couple of sources and don't see it listed. I will check
it out and when you send me your mailing address I can mail it this spring
yet. we are late and the plants can easily be sent and it will probably
bloom this spring. I'd be interested in learning something about
Welfenschatz. (Welfe, also a light yellow from {Dreaming Yellow X
Cambridge}. Anna Mae
