Dwarf Irises

Can someone give me information about a recent purchase I made (it was at a
Buena Creek Gardens sale and the sales people were so busy I hated to bother
them at the time).
They were in 4" pots, labeled Iris insulata and I was told they were dwarf
iris from Russia. They were only a couple inches tall, several in each pot,
and looked really cute! After separating the individuals I planted them in
a 12" terra cotta pot and they are now about 4" tall.
Any advice, suggestions, information, etc.?
