I just want you to know that your problem of non-blooming iris is not a
novel situation.
"I do not know why my rhizomes grow so grandly big and fat and the
leaves of the plants are so joyous in the bloom of health, and yet there
is no hint of flower. Lent A. (Williamson) has lived with me four years
and is fat and gross beyond all reason yet never a blossom has he given
me. Black Prince grew grandly for five years with no reward of bloom and
then, this last season, - delighted my soul with seven stalks of
wonderful flowers etc, etc,...... A.I.S. Bulletin # 10, January 1924.
