And a bus fare was three cents, and an ice cream cone was a nickel, etc
etc., etc. One of the other things that has "gone down" in price,
although we never like to admit it, is booze. Think how much a bottle of
booze was 30-40 years ago, and compare the price today!!!

Molalla, OR, Zone 8, where the TB's are fading fast, and I don't have a
single entry for the show this weekend!!! We leave a week today for
Michigan, so I guess we are not going to miss any bloom here this year
amongst the bearded irises, at any rate, and since the gophers ate most
of our beardless, we won't miss those, either.
