The description in Blyth's (aka Tempo Two's) '96-97 catalogue is:
AFFAIRE
(Blyth '93 Aust) E-M 36"
A new colour combination much admired as a seedling and causing a lot of
comment with Iris breeders. Standards are lavender to blue grey; falls are
greenish mustard with a slight tan overlay. Beards are mustard. Large full
ruffled blooms on well branched stems. Easy grower. Has given some
exciting second generation seedlings.
There is a photo of this on p49 of Graeme Grosvenor's book "Iris, Flower of
the Rainbow".
