OT: Coleus

Mark....  you're in luck!  Coleus are considered a very hip plant right now.
There are many named varieties - of which INKY FINGERS is one that comes to
mind..... deeply cut leaves of inky purple...  tiny chartreuse edge.
Spectacular in a pot here.

But I digress.  Coleus prefer shade where their leaf colors develop better.
They need deep, moist loamy soil and should be pinched back in order to
achieve that nice bushy look.  Most places recommend cutting off any flower
spikes that form - and you may as well because they sure don't enhance the
plant.

One source of ONLY named variety coleus is COLOR FARM in Florida .... but many
of the hipper catalogs are now carrying some.
