I had read that in one of the catalogs this year also. Thanks for
reminding me tho - the main reason I'm growing it (and a lot of other
experiments) is to learn more about how the different 'ingredients' in
the genetic make-up of modern TBs grow & react to different weather.
Two blooms, one each on two different clones, each about 3 inches off
the ground. Is that typical?
Anybody know if they take longer to settle mostly because they are slow
growing or if they maybe maintain a more extensive root system? or ?
Why why why why... sorry folks...
The two clones of I. variegata don't look very good either & have
absolutely no resemblance to HONORABILE in terms of growth habit. I am
eagerly waiting the opportunity to daub pollen on HONORABILE.
