Peter and I leave for OK today in order to attend the Board meeting which
begins tomorrow.
I just want to say:
1. You can run, but you can't hide...... I'm bringing my laptop
2. I'm looking forward to meeting EVERYbody and having just a fine old iris
time
Never been to Oklahoma, and my shower singing has now included the show tune,
and Okie from Muskogee.
In bloom reports...... just one little SDB out.... but hubba hubba. Barry
Blyth's JAZZAROO is a very finished variegata (which simply means "yeller
standards" and I love to tell folks this during programs). Yellow
standards, rich mahogany falls with a thin yellow line. The falls stand out
nicely and have the cutest little piecrust kind of rippling.
I told you I fall in love with whatever's in bloom.
For placement in the season here in the Buffalo burbs, hepatica and primroses
are blooming ... trillium is getting ready and the daffs and tulilps are
putting on a show.
