Glad to hear that you are all right and
posts that the hotel was undamaged. Take care and keep and eye to the
sky. Hope you will all still able to have a good convention in spite of
this tragedy.

This Buffalo gal hit town right
before the tornadoes, apparently. Standing at check-in, I
learned that they were headed our way..... and that "if you hear
sirens, go to a center hall".
I am happy to report that there
were no tornadoes here..... they DID hit, however, 11 blocks
away... with the worst of it 4 miles away.
Peter and I watched the
sky for a long time..... storms like I've never seen, but the air was
warm, if a tad breezy. Lightning jumping from cloud to cloud
almost constantly... like some mad scientist movie.
Left my clothes
at the ready when I turned in..... but it's morning and no
sirens.
