Betty, as I understand it, and have heard several judges so state, (much to
my surprise) a cultivar that is shown 8" higher than its introduced height
and with 1/3 larger flowers is to be penalized! I personally do not
understand it, but that is what I have been told. Also, about the space age
appendages or lack thereof, I have read (I believe in the World of Iris)
that they do not always sport their horns, etc. and should not be penalized
for this at this time.
