I want to thank everyone for all the expressions of concern for those of us 
here in OK.  The convention-goers are fine.... but we don't know about all 
the members of the local group.  It's been a wild experience..... and we're 
pretty jumpy.  More on the tornado when we can get more information.... and 
learn whether people are safe.  I need to stress that those in the hotel are 
just fine..... but I absolutely don't want to be flippant since this city and 
surrounding area are flattened and, as I said, we don't know how everyone is. 
 

A short report from the Board meeting tonight..... cool stuff going on, not 
the least of which is Jay Hudson's proposal to establish an electronic 
'commerce' (<--- not the right word, but I'm tired) committee, to explore how 
AIS can utilize the internet to all of our benefits.....

One other thing that came up was the AIS Bulletin indexing project that is 
underway.  Editor Terry Aitken reported that he has two people working on 
entering data, and that the project would go quicker with more data entry 
folks.  Clarence asked that I open the Kathyguest Recruiting Service to look 
for volunteers for data entry for this valuable project.... getting all the 
Bulletins indexed.  Has to be Windows format (for now).  Anyone who can take 
on some piece of this, raise your hand and I'll submit your name.
