Christy Hensler - three of the supertough irises from last year are
beautiful clear blue, and the clump of pink is blooming its head off.
The pink looks oldish, a bit small, narrow, strappy, and hafty up close,
but what a color impact from across the garden. It blooms well under 2
ft tall here - what height is it for you?
To the lady in Georgia (my mind has gone blank) who sent me the tough
rhizomes, originally from Tennessee, a year ago January (they'd been out
of the ground since the preceeding summer) - most are blooming now -
several are WABASH, one is an interesting, diploid looking grayish
white. I love WABASH, and my established clump is not blooming much
this year (drier location).
Thanks listers.
