Re: SDB: Best Pink and white SDB

From: "Chris Hollinshead" <cris@netcom.ca>

I have never had any trouble with growing any of the SDB irises except
unfortunately with the variety TWEETY BIRD which I tried to grow 3 times and
it failed each time over the winter. Three strikes and it is OUT... For the
most part the SDBs grow easily and vigorously in our climate.

The question was not intended to be centered around my criteria at all. In
fact exactly the opposite would be true. It would be you and others personal
opinions using YOUR criteria.

For instance I have the white PURE ALLURE which is pretty nice but I am
curious if there are considered improved whites in this SDB class. I read
about the new white ZERO from Keppel etc etc. Just wondering what others out
there think on this topic. Same with pinks although I do not have what I
consider a real pink SDB. (pink in the intense coloration sense that some
TBs are found)

Looking for opinions and ideas... on the latest and supposedly the
greatest... as subjective as that may be!
