My first night back on the 'net' after a week of national convention (and
dodging tornadoes). 830 more unread messages to go through, but in response
to yours, here are some of my favorites:
Pink SDB:
Chanted (Blyth 90)
Classy Babe (L. Miller 90) with a deeper spot pattern in falls
Delicate Pink (C. Palmer 84), a "sleeper" from an Oklahoma hybridizer; I
have hybridized with extensively, and am registering a ruffled cameo pink
from it this year, Silk Stockings (Dyer 2001)
Muse (M. Smith 97)
White SDB:
Arctic Blast (Shoop 95)
Cotton Blossom (B. Jones 70) -- still, and I'm still hybridizing with it!
Fresh Start (Ritchie 96) -- reported to be very nice, but I've had trouble
growing (and blooming) it here
Kristallnacht (Dyer 2000), pure white with sparkling sapphire blue beard,
from Serenity Prayer (yes, that was a plug!)
Lovin' Spoonful (Bausch 92), the most overlooked SDB of this decade,
magnificent, from Azure Gem, and the finest white I know
Snow Season (E. Jones 93), fat and round with a lovely lilac-pink beard
