I hoped someone else might mention this so I would not have to be a harbinger 
of ickiness, but here goes: 

If you have had hail damage to the flowers, you have had hail damage to the 
foliage, and if you have had hail damage to the foliage, I believe you may 
now have inhanced susceptibility to leaf spot. You will want to keep a close 
eye on the foliage and be prepared to act. 

If you have had any spot in your garden this year, or you had some last year. 
I'd do some preventive spraying. I say this from the perspective of one who 
sprays very little 
in the garden.
