You want the one with the heavier tines. They won't stab the rhizomes, and 
they will turn the soil. Get one in  a comfortable size, which may be a 
smaller size (border fork) since you don't need to wear yourself out just 
lifting the implement and you can work tighter. Pay particular attention to 
how the handle and head are attached, and look for an oak handle. Pay what 
you have to pay to get a good one.
