Bloom Report

From: moonsage@direct.ca

Hello all,

Spring came a bit early here in the central interior of BC and has
delighted us already with beautiful bloooms from tulips, daffs, etc.
Happily I can report that my MDB Tu Tu Turquoise, purchased two years
ago through the CIS Silent Auction, has bloomed again. It is a delight
to see this Iris in bloom; it is so tiny and so colorful.

Blooming near to where I planted Tu Tu is another MDB that was here when
we moved in last year. It had already bloomed before we got here so I
was happy to see buds coming on it this spring. Now it it in full bloom
and is such a delight I'd like to know it's name. Perhaps one of you has
an idea. This is a white Iris with light lemon half way up each petal
and with lovely lemon beards. It seems to be slightly fragrant.

About to bloom also are some beautiful purple Irises which look to be
SDB. I'm anxiously awaiting the blooms from some goodies that I bought
from Chuck Chapman's nursery last year and will report on them when it
happens.
