Thanks to Anner and all who anwered me about CAMEO BLUSH...the foliage is
34" tall....so I don't know about it being BB. I will now be waiting
anxiously for the bloom to see what color it actually is! What
fun...solving a mystery.
I did move 3 rebloomers yesterday....FLOWER SHOWER(already bloomed), AUTUMN
CIRCUS(already bloomed, one stalk that was only about 5"tall at the most
with 3 flowers), and SUNNY DISPOSITION(never bloomed). I followed the
procedure outlined by William Shear in *The Gardner's Iris Book* and washed
off all the dirt from the roots before I replanted....is this an uh oh?
Someone posted that if you just leave the chunk as is they never know they
are replanted. Too late now. I hope they live....SUNNY DISPOSITION looks
like a mess...alot of foliage and new issue(little bulblets) on the side of
the mother rhizome, but I did not think it was enough growth to separate, so
the leaves are trying to fall all around. I did cut them off, but maybe not
enough.
I hope you all will remember that I am a novice at all this and not wonder
what is the matter with this dumb woman :-)!!!
Thanks,
Lynn
