Yes, Larry, we still grow
WABASH, and I really think it would be one of the last ones we would eliminate
if we had to cut back. Several others in our club grow it, too. It's
a winner, even if old. Actually we have planted, side by side, not one but
three iris that people have claimed to be WABASH, and I hope to settle things
between them once and for all. Could be we have W., as well as AMIGO and
BRIGHT HOUR, both of which names were suggested as possible IDs for iris that
were similar to W. (This was a discussion on the old iris-l quite some
time ago.) Anyway, 3 cheers for WABASH!!!!
