SHOW: Queen of Show

Wisconsin Iris Society had their early show yesterday and there was a nice 
variety of irises shown.  Did not get final count on entries, I did a cursory 
count and it appeared to be about 225 which was not a big show for our club.  
Plenty of MDBs (still) all the way up to a good selection of Talls.  The only 
thing not entered were any Siberians.  I thought I had none to bring until I 
got home and saw 4 blooming stalks right in front of my house!  (A smack in 
the forehead was required here!).  Trust me, if any of my neighbors saw me 
racing around the yard early yesterday morning with wild looking "bed-hair" 
and knife in hand...I think that's why I stayed away from the front yard!

At any rate, no need for me to whine and complain....I won Queen of Show with 
a darling little MTB, Crystal Ruffles!   It's my first and let me tell you I 
was really excited!  Also, I won best MDB, with Tooth Fairy (thanks for 
sending it to me, Sterling).

And all the folks on iris chat Friday night laughed at me when I told them I 
have lucky underwear......  hahahaha!!

Can hardly wait for our next show in two weeks
