Being another Zone 3-er, I thought I would write and whine about my lack of
blooms so far.
One of my SDB's just opened - 'French Wine' the first this year. As of
yesterday, I had no other bloomstalks even forming, but I went out tonight
and was happy to see a whole bunch more on the way! My siberians are up only
5 or 6 inches but are really starting to take off. Lost almost all my tulip
and daff blooms to the hail storm the other night, but with the iris blooms
on the way, it has lifted my spirits somewhat. My artic flox is in full
bloom right now which is also a nice little treat in itself.
