Thanks Mike - that's encouraging. Since I am mostly interested in
durability, I might like something that you might toss in the trash as
totally undistinctive. What kinds of things have you been crossing it
with?
I've given up trying to grow SWEET MUSETTE - it grows reasonably well,
sometimes spectacularly well, in other gardens in this area, but I've
tried it three different times (IMMORTALITY is the only other iris I
have tried that many times) and it has never lived long enough to
bloom. SWEET MUSETTE is SUPPOSED to be easy to grow, but I guess my
garden is just a bit too much for it.

one last bloom on a stunted stalk of COMING UP ROSES, one on CONJURATION
(which loves Linda's awful garden - spectacularly tall & branched,
loaded with smallish blooms), 2 on a stunted stalk of very late planted
NEW SNOW, one gorgeous last bloom on PRETTY LADY, and one slightly beat
up last bloom on WISHFUL THINKING.
