I grow ( or try to grow) Standing Ovation. Used to live in zone 9 with
alkaline clay soil, now zone 8/9 with slightly acid loam. It did better for
me on the alkaline clay but has certainly never been an enthusiastic grower.
Pretty colour but for me there are better peach coloured irises out there,
never had any rebloom either.
