I'm just trying to see the cycle of hybridization through from pollen
daubing thru fridge germination to finally getting the seedlings into
the ground to see them bloom. So far I've been successful because of
everything I've read on the net and from everything I've read on this
list. What I'm saying is that I'll be a happy happy camper to finally
see my seedlings bloom. I've got absolutely no expectations from my
seedlings except to finally see them bloom. Seedling variation also
interests me so I'm sure I'll be pleased even if I've got two big rows
full of dogs. There was an old Irish Setter who visited us several
times this summer named Bill, he'd plop himself down between the rows of
seedlings and sleep. I hope this isn't a preview of spring bloom ;-)
If any of the seedlings are charming

Don't worry, I'm not one of those "form freaks" ;-) I like plants
primarily because they grow well so I'm not likely to throw any of them
away. My LENT is a vicious grower, it's like RAMSESES and will grow
happily in a wet puddle of clay without any objections. I'm planning to
buy a rhizome of it from Superstition Gardens to confirm it's identity
for good.
If any of the seedlings prove to be interesting rebloomers, I'll send
you a few to test in your killing fields.

My rebloomers got blasted 2 or three weeks ago by frost. Maureen and
Sandy must be getting lucky over there in Ottawa because I just went
and cut all emerging stalks off new additions REINCARNATION, NORTHWARD
HO. BLUE MOONLIGHT, DOUBLE SHOT, ENGLISH COTTAGE and CANTINA because we
got snow for Halloween and I've given up hope now :-(
Better let the cats in,
