Maureen brought a bulletin back to Canada from the Fall Executive
Meeting.
She beat the Post Office by less than twelve (12) hours!
Absolutely outstanding, considering that I once received an April
bulletin and a January bulletin in the same week ('98 or '99).
And this is what I think I think of the October bulletin:
1. Some excellent b&w photos, something I never expected to see in the
bulletin.
2. The cover photo of Yaquina Blue is excellent.
3. The back cover photos of the Wister medalists could be improved.
4. Three of my favourite guest selections made the top listing.
5. Flight Lines is quite interesting. I really should join one of the
robins.
6. Clarence's grandchildren have that look in their eyes... The Roger
Look I call it.
7. I liked the garden descriptions for the most part. This is most
unusual for me.
Regards,
Sandy Ives in Ottawa (where I should go out with a flame-thrower on my
borer s&d mission... tomorrow)
