Have you made any progress with Canadian Streaker ? This is a very nice VF
iris!!
I made some crosses on it. it loves Kentucky :-) This is one the best VF iris
in my garden.As far as the BC iris you do not have to have a plicata or a
carrier to get a BC.I have all ready tested that theory.As far as Romantic
Evening. It comes from dominant amoena that will give the zonal area.I have
tested Romantic Evening for plicata with a cross of Epicenter X Romantic
Evening and no Luminata Plicatas came from the cross.But what I did get were
Black Red beareded plicata carriers.I also crossed Hot Dogs And Mustard X
Fancy Woman and got a Luminata Pluicata
BC The standards are light yellow with the purple streaks dotted.The falls
are darker
Yellow with a light area around the yellow orange beads with dotted purple
streaks.
The Black Laced iris is from a seedling from Dusky Challger X Laced Cotton.I
then crossed that seedling with black Falls.I think you could get red beards
from Black Falls. The beards are showing some light yellow but it passes the
lace very well.
