Re: RE-Bloom

I doesn't really count as re-bloom, since it isn't doing it yet, but yesterday I noticed a fat bloomstalk with swelling buds on FEEDBACK. It has rebloomed here a number of years in the past, but never later than October. By then we have had freezes that knock out everything. This year, after it froze a couple nights hard enough to kill all the flowers and all but the most cold-tolerant veggies, we have had a very long and warm fall. Many days of record temps in the 70s here in Oct. and Nov. I intend to cover this stalk, baby it along as much as I can, and encourage it to bloom somehow, in the house as a cut stalk if necessary. This is the only rebloom stalk I've seen this year, and I'd given up all hope. This is zone 4, and not the southern edge of the zone either.
