Dear Shelly,
Both Dorothea K Williamson & Black Gamecock grow in ordinarry soil which
may be a little wetter than normal as the water table is high in that bed.
But they seem to grow like weeds here in Lexington, Kentucky, zone 5/6. I
would just mulch them heavily & hope for the best.
Annette Milch where it has been extremely warm for November & I am about
to see DARKLING (SDB) rebloom. It has about 4 buds (one per stalk) and one
is about to open, maybe tomorrow.
