How will you 'winter them over?'

About two weeks ago when I was removing all LAs from my bog,
I found a seed pod I had missed when I was cutting bloomstalks.
The pod had dried, split open and four seeds had germinated and
the seedlings were up over an inch tall. I rescued them and put
them in a pot. This is really strange - no cold, no coddling, no
nada. I have germination in only one pot where the seeds were
'processed,' coddled, watered, etc.
