Colleen,

Actually, it is a lot easier to code than to use the path you recommend.
You have ever so much more control over what is done, and you page does not
look like a million others out there.

You're not doing your web page directly in HTML are you??? What about some
nice easy software like Frontpage to convert from a Word document and do
your layout for you?
