Sam was a very nice, generous gentleman who shared many plants with me and
who I will miss.

  I am sad to report that in yesterdays obituaries, Sam Norris was listed.
  He died Tuesday Nov. 19th. He was 81. I had noticed that there was no one
  around when I would drive by his home, for the last month. I was also
  saddened that there was no mention of all his horticulture
accomplishments.
  He was a very private man and I feel lucky to have met him and toured his
  garden a couple times and he also visited mine. I hope his nephew carries
on
  his work. He brought him to
  my yard when he visited and I know the nephew was interested in the
  Louisiana's.
