Thanks, Bill.  It probably needed proofing.  But if I go back and read to
proof what I've just written on the fly, then it gets deleted instead of
posted.  I can't stand reading anything I write, so I write and post without
proofing.  On those occasions when I've then had to go back and read what I
posted - youch!

As for charting the genomes in cattle - I hope it happens.  I know some
people think this area should be off limits, but I'm not among that group.
Even if I were, it is clearly going to happen anyway.  The whole area is, in
my opinion, going to change how we view inheritance and the interaction of
chromosomes, genes and the parts that comprise them.  I look forward to the
information that will be gained.  Mendel might say "You've come a long way,
baby!".
