HYB: ?beard color & petal pigments?


Since tangerine factor can only be expressed when yellow pigments are
present (regardless of what the petal color looks like to the human
eye), does that mean that yellow pigments are present in the petals if
there is visible t-factor in the beards (beards orange or red)?

In other words, is that a way to tell whether or not a cultivar carries
yellow?

Or is it easier than that - is some yellow pigment always visible on the
hafts, style arms or base of the petals?
