seedlings in Richmond

Beautiful fall weather in Region 4 has brought late but lovely fall bloom.
Here at my home in Durham the two medians, I BLESS and LOW HO SILVER are
showing off well. I saw a lovely clump of CLARENCE in nearby Carrboro, and
there is another at our friends house in Durham, of which we were the
source. Michael Lockatell has had or currently has, rebloom on NORTHERN
SPY, RENOWN, GRACE THOMAS and MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM. He has a stalk coming
on MAASTERWORK. There is a new seedling that is a pure white with smooth
mustard yellow haft areas. This is large and ruffled, and shows off well,
even at a distance. The parentage on the white sdlg with mustard hafts is
:blue sdlg with brown beards X MM 25. ( MM 25 is Renown x Sunny Shoulders)
Another seedling sending up stalks, (SS111) is : (OO 26 x 00-33) X (OO 26 X
ZURICH). OO 26 IS NORTHWARD HO X ROCK STAR... OO 33 IS Renown x
Mesmerizer. Michael's garden is near Richmond, Virginia. It is truly
wonderful of these plants to give fall bloom after such a terribly wet
spring and summer when many irises rotted away. Lloyd Zurbrigg in cold, wet
