Griff,  both messageswere received at the same time here.  The  rope-making 
sounded most interesting.    HOWEVER, I don't seem to have your USDA zone, nor 
your State, for some reason, altho that is Virginia, I think!    It would help 
if that was in your message each time.  Frost  finished off my garden also, I
