I think that region 15 was the region effected by the fires. I don't
think that the fire hurt the iris and I am sure that "iris" are probably
the last thing that they are concerned with right now, insurance and
flooding are probably high on their lists. I do know that one large
garden (many acres) in Missouri actually intentionally start a fire to
burn off their fields before spring push starts. Says it not only rids
them of the old iris fans but kills off weed seed also. Lorraine in
