Barney, can't you really plant them now? There are others who are better
able to answer your question, but I'd take a chance and plant them. Have done
that in the past, even! Certainly put them in pots and plant the pot! My zone
7 ground isnn't frozen yet. They probably won't grow/increase, but at least
they can stay status quo and be out of the way! Good luck, Rosalie nr
