REB: Last report

Well, we have been very fortunate this fall since our average freeze date is
Nov. 17th.   If my trash can cover up works
tonight, "Cruise to Autumn" will be my last to rebloom.   It is Lauer '01.
We have had a long, relatively cool, fall and our
first freeze is due tonight, but no more for the rest of the week.   I am
reminded of quite a while back when the arboretum had a large iris bed, and
there were still blooms on Jan 1.   That was quite a sight for Dallas.   There
were several of Walter's irises among them.
