There were a bunch of us at the spring meeting.  It was held in conjunction
with the Region 18 regional meeting in Wichita Kansas.  It was a blast.  We
basically attended the Region 18 convention went on the garden tours,
attended the banquet and had a TBIS meeting also.  I would like to think
that Region 18 benefitted from TBIS's attendance.  We registered for their
convention, bought iris at their auction and had a wonderfully good time.
Thanks to their gracious hospitality TBIS had a place to meet and gardens to
tour and people to visit with.
The fall meeting just happened in Arlington TX on November 14th.  For this
one, we held a board meeting on Friday evening and a general meeting on
Saturday.  We had two speakers, Tom Burseen and Vince Christopherson.   They
were both very informative and entertaining.  On Saturday evening we had a
slide show consisting of slides taken by members of ...you guessed it Tall
Bearded iris.
