It is a shame that budgets are never quite big enough for all our wants and
demands...lol. With Christmas coming up, I can certainly relate.
I should state here that in lieu of having photos in the RIS publication,
iris-photos is a valuable tool and some pictures of the irises mentioned in
the publication can be found there if someone has posted them.
A search of the archives will often produce a result I am looking for when
looking up iris photos.
Anyway, do not sell yourself short. Mike Lowe is indeed valuable, but your
efforts are appreciated as well! I really enjoy the Recorder, and I commend
you for soliciting article ideas to make it even more enjoyable for us to
read.

Thanks guys,
All excellent ideas. I especially think that
the editors group can help each other with
supplying the beginners articles.
I wish we could include more color photos
Patrick, I don't think it's too likely though
due to the expense. I just don't have the
technical skills that Mike Lowe has to do what
he does for the HIPS publication. HIPS is so
very lucky to have Mike. The AIS too, as he's
taking on the Registar position too.
Thanks so much for the suggestions!
Happy Thanksgiving!!
Robin
