REB: Blazing Sunrise and Istanbul

Well! We've had two hard freezes here, which have zapped the long-blooming
RENOWN and I BLESS, but out pops ISTANBUL today -- well branched and seven
buds -- , with a good stalk of BLAZING SUNRISE right beside it. Neither of
these has ever rebloomed for me before, and I've had them for several years.
Ditto CLARENCE, which has also bloomed for a month, and there are two more
stalks with buds that may have survived the freeze. We'll see. I can only
ascribe this to the excessive rainfall during August thru October, which was
so injurious to my seedling crop. So, blessings and curses. -- Griff
