REB:Reports

Betty, I thought you might be interested in a note I received from one of my
daughters who lives somewhat south of you near Charlotte, TN, not far from
your past RVP's home.

In a group of seedlings she took home from here of a cross of LOTUS LAND and
HAPPENSTANCE, both Keppel pinks and somewhat closely related, one of the
seedlings is up and showing color. She's going to get a digital photo of it
if it opens before frost hits it.

This is not a rebloom as this seedling didn't bloom this spring, but as Linda
Mann and I have both speculated, out-of-season bloom probably indicates at
least some of the genetic package that makes a rebloomer what it is.

I'm sending this on for whatever it is worth, as I thought you might be
interested.

Neil Mogensen
