RE: Introduction

Hi Kris,

Do you know about the Convention coming in the spring in St Louis. It is
listed on the AIS web site, http://www.irises.org
Be sure to check it out and think about attending. I will be driving and
glad of a rider if you are interested. The Convention allows you to see the
newest Iris that will be coming down the road and some of your favorites,
growing a totally different setting. It allows you to meet other people who
love Iris and to talk culture. You can take classes and go to all the
gardens on the list on the provided busses.

This is a wonderful event, with lots of Iris opportunity.

Char

Subject: [iris] Introduction

Hello.

I garden in SW Wisconsin (zones 4/5) on a city lot. I've got deep shade
under maple trees, full sun, and everything in between.

My sun/part shade garden is a cottage-style garden, with many types of
iris tucked between other perennials. Iris (of all types) are one of my
favorite plants. I have iris of various sizes and types blooming from
late April (for the tiniest bearded iris) through July.

I'm looking forward to sharing information and learning more about iris
from you.
