THANK YOU Betty for mentioning The Great Clarence Mystery article that was
written by Don Spoon in the April 1999 AIS Bulletin. After reading all the
Clarence posts, I was beginning to wonder if anyone reads the AIS Bulletin.
The article is the best explanation for Clarence I have read.
The cover has an unidentified iris plant within a garden setting on the cover
that has reddish purple flowers.

I seem to recall an article on zonals in one of the AIS Bulletin . . . 1980
ish. (1987?) Victoria Falls was the pictorial example as I recall. Mine
