Char, what a grand opportunity you have given the 2005 Convention planners to
tout the early registration fee of $199 and all the grand plans for the
"Heartbeat of America" convention.

Check out the website for the Convention http://www.ais2005.com/ to see what
is going on and make your plans accordingly. Check back frequently as there
will be bargains on airfares and rental cars too. Make your hotel reservations
early too-Sheraton Westport Chalet is beautiful and there is a lovely iris
planting there too!

The two master plantings for the Convention are (1) the world famous Missouri
Botanical Gardens (To Die For best of the USA public gardens) and (2) private
garden of Mike Theissen with over 900 Guest Irises! We have the very first
school garden on tour for a convention with the plantings of the Southview
School students along with the Kirkwood Iris Society helping with/directing the
work.

We realize it is early yet to make firm plans for many of you but we are
looking forward to seeing old and new friends in St. Louis May 2005!

Rita and Tom Gormley
Greater St. Louis Iris Society - Host for 2005 AIS Convention
