CULT:mantis

I'm finding egg cases down in my clumps of irises. They have been built
less than 6 inches off the ground. Seems like I remember reading or hearing
that the height of the egg clusters were indicative of the amount of snow coming
in the winter!> <vbg>

I can't locate anything on the Internet? Anyone remember this?

Did discover that my large population of mantis is probably the reason my
hopper infestation disappeared over night! They love hoppers!
