Crude paper chromatography (paper towel) with the water extracts shows
definite water soluble yellow pigment in both the standards and falls.
Seems to be more in the falls, but that may be coming from the beards.
First attempt looked like there was an inner zone of purple, then
yellow, then outer purple band on the towel, but I the solution was too
dilute to tell for sure, then dropped the towel in the water, so want to
try again.
