Hello Everyone,

A few years ago I started an Iris database with the assistance of several
individuals who hae a hybridizing background.

Since that time I have made many updates to the database and I believe it is
in a close to final form. I feel it is a very friendly user environment
where you can put all your information as well as photos. There is little
left in terms of required fields and the only two features that I forsee in
the future is the ability to upload (which there is currently the ability to
find and export) and potentially updating drop down lists for fields that
don't currently have that option. I have made it available free of charge to
anyone who wishes to use it and it will always remain free of charge in
terms of the copy that is on the site. I doubt that anyone would require
customization as it is robust in terms of that you may add seedlings etc.

Iris database Version 2.4 - it is the fourth item on the list of databases
on that page.

I've had some very good feedback and thought it may be time to share it with
the community outside of Canada.
